The Hawaiian Steel Vol. 3:  Byrd's Nest album is a tribute to the late, great "Steel Guitar Master,"  Jerry Byrd and features Alan Akaka, Casey Olsen, Greg Sardinha and Paul Kim.  All of these gentlemen were mentored by Mr. Byrd early in their music careers and thus a fitting name for the album.  

Hawaiian Steel Vol. 3:  Byrd's Nest won the Hawaii Music Award for Steel Guitar Album of the Year.
